The stylist behind every crown.
Stephanie Allyn Pohl has spent twenty five years with her hands in other people's hair. She has built a career most stylists spend a lifetime working toward, working with clients like Mariah Carey, Steven Tyler, Jameela Jamil, and others. Ask her what she is most proud of, though, and she will not point to any of that. She will tell you about her daughter.
A gap only she could see.
When her daughter was born with curly hair, Stephanie went looking for a clean children's line built for her daughter's texture. Nothing existed. Not one line was made specifically for children with curly hair that met a real clean standard, and fragrance, which alone can hide dozens of unlisted chemicals, was standard across the board.
She already knew, from her own career, that children with straight hair had clean options at every age, from babies through teenagers. Curly haired children did not have that same range. Even today, with a few more options on the market than there were then, very few meet REIGN's full standard.
Twenty five years of expertise. One reason to care.
Stephanie was in a unique position to do something about it. Twenty five years of working with nearly every hair texture that exists, combined with raising a curly haired daughter of her own, gave her something most people trying to solve this problem do not have, real expertise and a real reason to care.
She built REIGN so that every mother with a curly child, especially the ones facing a texture completely different from their own for the first time, have everything they need to care for their child's curls, without having to figure it out alone.
To make every curly haired child feel like royalty.
She wants every curly haired child to feel like royalty. Beautiful. Important. Seen. She wants that message carried through every product, every ingredient, every single interaction, so a child knows without being told that their hair matters, and so do they. REIGN is a luxury curl care line, without the luxury price tag, because Stephanie does not believe clean, effective hair care should be out of reach for any family.
She's not stopping at the products.
Alongside the full REIGN line, she is building Curl Academy, a single place where parents can find real, trustworthy answers about curly hair care for kids, instead of piecing it together from a hundred confusing sources online.
